Send as your brand, not as a number
People open texts from names they recognise. With Iflow, each message shows your organisation's name as the sender, up to 11 characters, so the people you contact know straight away who it's from.
In Ireland, ComReg now requires every alphanumeric sender name to be registered. Unregistered names are labelled "Likely Scam" and may not be delivered at all. Registering is free and done once, and we take care of our side:
- Register your name with ComReg. Assign DiaryBook, the company behind Iflow, as your third party when you apply. Our step-by-step guide shows you exactly what to enter.
- We approve it on our platform. Once ComReg confirms, tell us and we switch your sender name on.
- Send. Every message from then on carries your registered name.
Branded SMS outside Ireland
Sender names work in the UK and most other countries without pre-registration. Some countries, like the USA, require a registered number instead. The sender ID guide covers where each option works.
Want replies too?
A sender name can't receive replies. When you need two-way messages, Iflow sends from a reply number instead, and every reply lands back in your account.
